The Taurus mountain range of southern Anatolia runs parallel to the Mediterranean in an east-west direction, resulting in the formation of narrow coastal plains, which are surrounded by mountains on three sides and open to the south sea. The province of Antalya is located between the north latitudes of 36,07 - 37,29 and east longitudes of 29,20 - 32,35. Since the area is closed to the cold northerly winds, it is characterized by the typical Mediterranean climate with hot, dry summers and moderately warm and rainy winters. In the area with sunny weather for 10 months a year the temperature climbs up to 45C in July and August. The sea breeze and the northeasterly winds blowing from inland relieve the area under this temperature.Antalya is a tourism centre with its unique touristic accommodation facilities, nature and historical beauties. As for contemporary produce, hand-woven Turkish carpets and all kinds of jewellery, handicrafts are on-sale in shopping center around the airport and restored commercial buildings souvenir shops in the city, such as Tek Kap›l› Han, Alarahan, Serapsu Han, Bedesten.  Also, in Antalya, you can find every kind of international and Turkish traditional restaurants.

Security: Antalya is not only one of the most famous touristic centers of the world but also one of the few cities with a minimum rate of crime.You can walk through all around the city.

Currency Exchange: The currency unit is Turkish Lira(TL) and New Turkish Lira(YTL). Convertible foreign currency may be exchanged at the airport,hotels,banks and exchange bureaus at the current exchange rates.The rates are announced in the daily newspapers.International credit cards are widely used.

Electric Current: Electric Current is 220 Volt AC 50Hz .Two-pin round plugs are used.

Transportation: Your airport transfers from Antalya Airport to the WOW Hotels will be done by Avrasya Tourism with a fixed charge. Also, you can use taxi and Airport shuttle buses known as HAVAfi. Havafl brings you up to city center. All taxi in the city are yellow coloured and have a taximeter. The rates of taxis differs from day to night.
